About the position
Lula is a Series A, VC-backed insurtech startup based in Miami, FL, US that is revolutionizing the insurance industry by rethinking how insurance is priced, sold, and managed. As a tech company first and foremost, Lula's goal is to upgrade the insurance industry's infrastructure, allowing companies to seamlessly integrate insurance into their business operations. With the support of prominent investors like Founders Fund, Khosla Ventures, and Softbank, Lula is seeking a talented individual to join their team as a Software Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing major software components, solving product problems, and creating delightful API and developer experiences. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to contribute to critical decisions regarding software best practices and mentor other team members. If you have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a similar technical field, Lula invites you to bring your expertise and help shape the future of insurance.

- Design and implement major software components, systems, and features
- Solve product problems and build delightful API and developer experiences for users
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software
- Engage in critical decisions regarding software best practices, LULA systems, and stakeholders' concerns
- Mentor and train other team members on design techniques and coding standards
