Solutions Engineer (Japan)

The Wise Systems Solutions Engineer is a key role in delivering technical sales and service for the company's growing enterprise customer base. This role involves engaging with customers during pre-sales and deployment phases, configuring client accounts, managing data ingestion and export, and resolving technical support issues. The Solutions Engineer will also develop best practices and share critical information with the team, while working with a variety of mid-market and enterprise clients across industries. This role requires significant traveling and is crucial in ensuring customer success and satisfaction.

• Engage with the Sales team to implement proof-of-concept solutions or custom demos in the pre-sales process
• Perform pre-sales audits to assess customer environments, recommend optimal system configurations, and document integration requirements
• Facilitate high-quality deployments, partnering with the Customer Experience team on customer onboarding and training, and implementing client-specific account configurations for data ingestion and export
• Take ownership of customer support technical issues after deployment, working to implement resolutions or escalating support issues and feature requests to Product Management
• Document customer-specific and/or product issues and propose solutions
• Collaborate with Customer Experience and Product Management/Engineering teams to identify and resolve customer concerns, capture feature requests, and request improvements
• Perform system maintenance (upgrades, reconfiguration, etc.) to ensure ongoing technical proficiency with the company's products
• Bring a working understanding and proficiency with calibration equipment for validating product performance
• Serve as dedicated onsite resources embedded within the customer team
• Act as the first line of defense for a single customer.
