About The Position

DISCO is changing the practice of law with modern, AI-driven software that lawyers love to use. We are looking for an experienced legaltech product marketer or former attorney to help drive the go-to-market strategy for our products. Product marketing weaves together storytelling, strategy, public speaking, and analytical thinking — making it a great career for attorneys looking to make a switch. You'd be joining a department with many former attorneys who love their jobs.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in the legal industry OR 8+ years of experience in product marketing, with a focus on legal technology.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate market insights into actionable go-to-market plans.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • All employees are expected to proactively adopt and responsibly use AI tools to drive efficiency, improve outcomes, and continuously evolve how they operate in their role

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with litigation and eDiscovery
  • Experience in SaaS or enterprise software product marketing.
  • Authorization to Work in the U.S.: Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future. DISCO is not currently sponsoring visas, including, but not limited to, H-1B, TN, or EAD, and we are not accepting visa transfers.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and refine clear and impactful messaging and positioning that resonates with target audiences and effectively communicates the value of our products.
  • Lead the development and execution of comprehensive go-to-market plans for new product launches and feature updates, ensuring alignment with product management, sales, and marketing teams.
  • Oversee the creation of integrated marketing campaigns that drive product awareness, demand generation, and customer engagement across various channels.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to create sales collateral and training materials so they can effectively sell our products.
  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer research to identify market trends, customer needs, and opportunities for product differentiation
