Senior API Developer - C# (f/m/diverse) - Hybrid

Eurowings Digital is seeking a Senior API Developer - C# to join their team and contribute to the development of their travel platform. As a key player, you will be responsible for delivering value through software, ensuring customer satisfaction, and achieving business goals. Your tasks will include developing modern API interfaces, evaluating product quality, advising developers and designers, and presenting outcomes to stakeholders. The ideal candidate should have expertise in developing REST, JSON, and SOAP APIs, as well as experience with Microsoft ASP.NET, C# .NET, and Web API 2 frameworks. Knowledge of test automation, caching strategies, and security standards is also required.

Develop modern API interfaces in collaboration with the agile squad team

Inspect and evaluate product quality through iterations

Analyze different possible courses of action and select the best solution for implementation

Advise developers and designers on quality practices for user stories and products

Understand user stories and split them into subtasks

Determine whether the final product meets stakeholder requirements

Support and define quality criteria with the team

Present outcomes, results, and learnings to the company/stakeholders

Develop REST, JSON, and SOAP APIs

Work with Microsoft ASP.NET, C# .NET, .NET Core, and Web API 2 frameworks

Have familiarity with Microsoft IIS basics

Implement test automation of APIs and practice test-driven development

Utilize Microsoft SQL server and SQL, no SQL data stores

Apply caching strategies and optimize application performance

Adhere to OWASP security standards and data privacy topics

Fluency in English and a good level of German

Experience with API documentation standards like Open API and Swagger (nice to have)

Familiarity with the Microsoft Azure tool chain and Cloud infrastructure (nice to have)
