Technical Program Manager

Orbit Fab is seeking a Program Manager who will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of program management, including cost, schedule, technical, and risk management activities. The successful candidate will collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure the successful completion of program deliverables. They should have experience working with U.S. Government agencies and managing supplier subcontracts. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact in the development of the company's refueling infrastructure and contribute to the growth of the in-space economy.

• Plan, organize, direct, and control all activities of the program to satisfy requirements and meet financial commitments to the company.
• Assist engineering team in drafting, modifying, and planning compliance activities with program requirements.
• Work with both internal and external stakeholders to manage overall program schedule and budget.
• Manage customer relationships.
• Facilitate the risk management process with the engineering team.
• Work within the organization to define, secure, and organize resources, standards, processes, procedures, and tools essential for the successful completion of the program.
• Provide support to business development activities as required.
• Consult with leadership team to develop and implement current, annual and long-term technical, schedule, quality, business, and financial objectives for the program(s).
• Act as a role model through personal excellence, integrity, and accountability throughout the business.
• Travel associated with supplier management and/or customer visits may be required.

• 5 or more years of relevant experience managing technology hardware development efforts for space applications
• Experience executing through all phases of a program life cycle (SRR, PDR, CDR, MRR, TRR, PSR)
• Demonstrated expertise and application of program management practices including: planning and budgeting, schedule development, change control, risk and opportunity management, and earned value management
• Demonstrated experience interacting with U.S. Government agencies such as the Air Force, Space Force, and/or NASA
• Experience managing supplier subcontracts
• Ability to lead a team in accordance with the program budget and schedule
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to build and manage external supplier partnerships
