Vice President, Engineering

The company is seeking a VP of Engineering to lead their department and drive innovation in their Email Authentication as a Service platform. The VP of Engineering will provide strategic direction and technical leadership, collaborate with cross-functional teams, lead product development, and ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of their solutions. They will also be responsible for building and mentoring a high-performing engineering team, driving architectural decisions, and implementing best practices for software development. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background, experience in SaaS or cybersecurity, and exceptional problem-solving and communication skills.

• Provide strategic direction and technical leadership to the engineering team
• Develop and execute the engineering roadmap to align with C-Level strategy and objectives
• Collaborate with product management and cross-functional teams to define requirements and roadmap
• Lead end-to-end product development, ensuring on-time and high-quality delivery
• Lead the design and development of the API first architecture to improve velocity, scalability, and extensibility
• Build and mentor a diverse, engaged, and high-performing engineering team
• Translate company strategy into clear goals and performance expectations
• Drive architectural decisions for scalability, reliability, and security
• Implement best practices for software development, delivery, and quality assurance
• Have 8+ years of engineering leadership in SaaS or cybersecurity
• Have a strong technical background in software development and cloud-based architectures
• Implement and scale an API-first development model
• Manage highly scalable infrastructure handling critical business data or transactions
• Manage and scale diverse engineering teams, driving to business goals
• Possess exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with team members, peers, and management.
