Vice President of Product Management

As the VP of Product Management at Valimail, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of our product offerings. Your responsibilities will include developing and executing a comprehensive product strategy, conducting market research, defining and prioritizing product features, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Your expertise in product strategy, market analysis, and team leadership will be essential in shaping our product roadmap and driving innovation. Additionally, you will lead and mentor a team of product managers and designers, foster a culture of innovation and excellence, and monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.

• Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy to align with C-Level business strategy and objectives.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape in partnership with product marketing.
• Define and prioritize product features and enhancements based on customer feedback, market demand, and alignment with overall strategy.
• Define and communicate a clear product roadmap that aligns with the C-Level business strategy and objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, marketing, sales, product support, security & compliance) to ensure successful execution of the product roadmap while maintaining the company's security & compliance posture.
• Communicate roadmap direction, changes, and committed features to key customer stakeholders and executives.
• Lead and mentor a team of product managers and product designers, defining career ladders and fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to align product strategy and execution to ensure successful outcomes.
• Monitor market trends and insights, emerging technologies, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and challenges.
• Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics in partnership with Product Operations to measure product success and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with engineering and design teams to prioritize and implement product improvements based on data-driven insights.

• Proven experience (8+ years) in product management roles overseeing multiple products/modules, preferably in SaaS or cybersecurity.
• Experience managing teams of 6-8 product management individuals, experience managing large teams a plus.
• Strong track record of successfully developing and launching innovative products.
• Experience building, leading, and mentoring diverse teams of product managers and product designers.
• Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Strong market and customer research and analysis skills.
• Ability to define and prioritize product features and enhancements based on customer feedback, market demand, and overall strategy.
• Ability to develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Strong communication skills to effectively communicate product roadmap direction, changes, and committed features to key stakeholders and executives.
• Knowledge of market trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and challenges.
• Ability to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure product success and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborative mindset to work closely with cross-functional teams (engineering, marketing, sales, product support, security & compliance) for successful execution of the product roadmap.
