Managed Services Infrastructure DevOps Engineer

This DevOps Infrastructure Engineer position at 3Cloud is a critical role within their Managed Services team. The engineer will be responsible for the ongoing development, support, and proactive maintenance of client's DevOps solutions in Azure. They will also provide technical expertise and support in areas such as Azure infrastructure, DevOps and CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and host configuration management. The engineer will collaborate with team members and client stakeholders to ensure solutions align with client needs and will communicate technical issues and solutions to clients in business terms.

• Support client's DevOps environment, including analyzing and resolving incidents
• Consult, develop, and advise on DevOps implementations related to Azure infrastructure
• Continuously learn, apply, and refine skills
• Provide technical expertise and support in Azure Infrastructure, DevOps and CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, and host configuration management
• Create and maintain updated documentation for each client's environment
• Promote best practices for clients and internally to enhance organizational processes
• Communicate ticket status information and escalate cases as appropriate
• Participate in discussions with clients to review current issues and propose solutions
• Collaborate with team members and client stakeholders to align solutions with client's needs
• Interact with clients to identify and troubleshoot issues, and communicate technical issues and solutions in business terms

• 5+ years of experience in system administration (Windows and/or Linux), DevOps and/or software development and IT Operations
• 3+ years managed services or project experience migrating and deploying cloud-based solutions
• 1+ years implementing and supporting Microsoft Azure infrastructure and topologies (or demonstrated experience form with AWS or GCP)
• Experience working in a support role and understanding standard support processes (i.e. ITIL)
• Performance analysis, troubleshooting and remediation techniques
• Hands-on support and continuous improvement experience of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery in Azure DevOps and GitHub actions
• Experience with various cloud deployment methodologies
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, Chef/Puppet, Docker and/or Kubernetes is preferred
• Automation experience - very good scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Bash, Python, Groovy, etc.). Experience can be from any public cloud
• Understanding of cloud ecosystem and leading-edge cloud emerging technologies
• Strong analytical problem-solving ability
• Strong presentation, written and verbal communication skills
• Work remote, but not alone – with a team filled top to bottom with Azure infrastructure engineers
