About the position

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Marketing Operations Manager to join our dynamic team at Later/Mavrck. As a Marketing Operations Manager (MOps), you will play a critical role in optimizing and streamlining our marketing processes, managing marketing technology systems, and providing data-driven insights to drive our marketing strategies. Your responsibilities will include overseeing and managing the marketing technology stack, collaborating with cross-functional teams for data integration, executing campaigns across various channels, analyzing marketing data, and identifying areas for improvement and optimization. This role requires strong analytical skills, project management abilities, and knowledge of marketing automation platforms and analytics tools.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the marketing technology stack, including marketing automation, CRM, analytics, and other relevant tools
  • Evaluate, recommend, and implement new marketing tools and platforms to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
  • Manage contracts, renewals, payment, and invoicing with vendors
  • Manage the relationship and execution of new CRM and automation platforms
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper integration and data flow between different systems
  • Maintain data hygiene, segmentation, and data governance practices
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (such as GDPR or CCPA) in marketing operations
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to execute campaigns across various channels, ensuring proper tracking and attribution
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret marketing data to identify trends, patterns, and insights
  • Develop reports and dashboards to track key marketing metrics, campaign performance, and ROI
  • Provide regular reports and analysis to inform decision-making and drive strategic initiatives
  • Standardize and operationalize channel reporting across the marketing team
  • Analyze existing marketing processes and identify areas for improvement, automation, and scalability
  • Develop and implement streamlined processes to increase operational efficiency and align with marketing objectives
  • Monitor and measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, identifying opportunities for optimization and providing actionable recommendations

Requirements

  • 4+ years proven experience in marketing operations or a similar role within the SaaS industry.
  • Bachelor's degree, ideally in marketing, business, operations, or technical field.
  • Proficient with segmentation, reporting, and using data to drive business decisions.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Strong results orientation, with a proven record of performing to aggressive growth targets.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively within a cross-functional team.
  • Flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Experience with CRM and automation platforms (e.g., Marketo, Hubspot, Klaviyo, Mandrill, Intercom, Salesforce).
  • Experience with analytics tools and dashboards (e.g., Google Analytics, Data Studio).
  • Knowledge of digital marketing best practices and emerging trends.
  • Endlessly curious.
