Senior Game Data Scientist

As part of the Central Data Science team at Socialpoint, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining cross-game data-marts and data science models. Your main tasks will include providing clean and transformed data for game analysts, collaborating with game analytics teams to develop data science models, and educating analysts on coding best practices. With a focus on continuous improvement and a collaborative team environment, you will have the opportunity to learn and grow while working with the latest technical stack and advanced scientific tools. A bachelor's degree in a quantitative field and experience in ETLs, data pipelines, and Python are required. Nice-to-have qualifications include experience with front-end visualization tools, marketing analytics, and the mobile gaming industry.

- Design, build and maintain cross-game data-marts, providing clean and transformed data, ready for the game analysts to use. - Team up with game analytics teams to design, build and maintain data science models and data products that will be used in multiple applications, including causal impact modeling and game personalization at user level. - Educate game analysts on coding best practices, and promote software engineering best practices on analytics processes. - Continuous learning and improvement. - Collaboration and knowledge sharing within the team. - Building and maintaining ETLs and/or data pipelines. - Familiarity with modern data stack tools like Amazon Redshift, S3, Docker, Airflow, and CI/CD pipelines. - Experience in Python (R is also welcome) for developing production-level data science models. - Strong statistics fundamentals, with prior experience in Bayesian statistics being a plus. - Being a team player and establishing effective relationships to work with others. - Fast learning, meticulous, and proactive individual. - Balancing short term and long term deliverables. - Experience in creating and maintaining dashboards with visualization tools like Tableau or Looker (nice-to-have). - Experience with R Shiny (nice-to-have). - Experience in Marketing Analytics (nice-to-have). - Experience in the Mobile Gaming industry (nice-to-have).

Familiarity with modern data stack tools like Amazon Redshift, S3, Docker, Airflow in combination with CI/CD pipelines (git for version control) is a plus. - 1 year experience in Python (R is also welcome) for developing production-level data science models. - Strong statistics fundamentals. Prior experience in bayesian statistics is a plus. - A team player, able to establish effective relationships to work with others for the win. - A fast learner, highly meticulous and proactive individual. - Pragmatic, able to balance short term and long term deliverables. - Experienced creating and maintaining dashboards with a front-end visualization tool like Tableau or Looker is a nice-to-have. - Experience with R Shiny is a nice-to-have. - Experience in Marketing Analytics is a nice-to-have. - Experience in the Mobile Gaming industry is a nice-to-have.
