About the position
We are seeking a product designer to join the Codecov team at Sentry. In this role, you will collaborate with product managers and engineers to deliver code quality products used by software developers worldwide. You will contribute to Codecov's existing code coverage project and work closely with the product team to provide innovative solutions to software engineering and code quality challenges. If you are skilled at taking big ideas from concept to reality and are motivated by user feedback, this role may be a great fit for you.
Responsibilities
Requirements
- 5+ years of product design experience, or a portfolio that can trick us into believing so (a link to a portfolio or relevant work is required)
- Understanding and caring deeply about user personas like IT decision makers, Engineers, Engineering Managers and their unique needs
- Frontend experience with HTML/CSS and an understanding of how to design for the web
- Basic understanding of the software developer and the challenges they face
- Impeccable taste and knack for attention to detail
- Experience collaborating with remotely distributed teams
- Experience with conducting user interviews and parsing results
- Experience with Figma or other modern design tools
- Experience with reducing complex concepts in
