UI Designer

The job overview for this position is that Edge & Node is seeking a creative UI designer with expertise in web prototyping tools and the ability to create and maintain design systems. The designer will be responsible for crafting high-fidelity UI interfaces, collaborating on UI patterns and improving design systems, prototyping end-to-end UI designs, and collaborating with other team members to design visually appealing content. The ideal candidate should have strong illustration skills, be able to provide and receive feedback, and have a strong work ethic. Previous experience in web3/crypto is a bonus.

• Create well-crafted, high-fidelity UI interfaces through mockups
• Collaborate on UI patterns and improve design systems for UI components
• Prototype end-to-end high fidelity UI designs to visualize product experiences
• Collaborate with designers and team members to design beautiful and communicative content such as icons, flow charts, and infographics
• Expertise in web prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Framer
• Create and maintain design systems and components
• Possess strong illustration skills to visualize and bring early-stage ideas alive
• Provide feedback to team members and receive feedback with compassion and confidence
• Gather, understand, and convert complex information into engaging and informative visual content
• Demonstrate a strong work ethic, take ownership, and proof-check work with high accuracy
• Apply emotional intelligence to think through design problems and arrive at thoughtful solutions
• Previous experience within web3/crypto is a bonus

• Expertise in web prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Framer (we use Figma)
• Expertise in creating and maintaining design systems and components
