Senior Software Engineer - Data Systems for Machine Learning

Coactive is seeking a software engineer to join their team and work on building production-grade data systems for understanding unstructured image and video data. The ideal candidate will have experience in Python, Java, C++, or a similar language, as well as a strong background in developing data-intensive systems. They will collaborate with a world-class team and have the opportunity to shape engineering best practices and company culture. Coactive offers competitive compensation, including a base salary between $153,000-$180,000, along with market-leading equity grants and comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage.

• Build production-grade data systems
• Tackle challenging problems at the intersection of machine learning and systems
• Collaborate with a world-class team of engineers, researchers, and scientists

• Have good knowledge of SQL

• BS (or higher) in Computer Science or related fields, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of production-level experience in one of: Python, Java, C++, or similar language
• Experience developing data intensive systems that power critical business processes
• Experience working on enterprise software or cloud native platforms
• Experience with security and systems that handle sensitive data
• Equally comfortable working on a white-board, pair programming, or presenting to small groups
• Good knowledge of SQL
