Network Automation Engineer

The Network Automation Engineer will play a crucial role in Metropolis, a company that develops advanced computer vision and machine learning technology for mobile commerce. They will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated network solutions, as well as building network automation scripts using various tools. The engineer will also investigate and find ways to automate existing manual processes, monitor systems, and respond to outages. Collaboration with multi-functional teams and staying up-to-date with emerging technologies will be essential in this role.

• Design, develop, and maintain automated network solutions
• Build network automation scripts using Python, Ansible, Salt Stack, and other automation tools
• Investigate and find ways to automate existing manual processes to reduce manual-hours works and human-errors
• Monitoring systems, responding to outages and issues in a weekly on-call rotation
• Configure and manage network automation tools and platforms
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams to implement automated solutions
• Take on and resolve network issues and possibly automate the resolution methodology without supervision
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends in network automation.
